Student Rights & Student Voice
Students are encouraged to raise any concerns with the College. If a concern becomes a formal complaint, the appropriate internal and external complaints process will apply.
If a student is unable to continue their studies due to special circumstances, a refund may be available according to the refund policy.
The College welcomes student feedback on learning, support services, and facilities through regular surveys, student representative groups, or by contacting the relevant support teams directly.
How to make a complaint
The College values every student’s feedback and is committed to maintaining a safe, fair, and supportive learning environment. If you have any concerns about your studies or learning environment, you are encouraged to speak with a staff member to discuss these matters.
If your concerns are not resolved through informal discussion, you have the right to formally raise a complaint by following the UP International College New Zealand’s official complaint procedures. The College is dedicated to addressing all complaints fairly and promptly.
If your concerns are not resolved through the College’s internal formal complaint process, you may contact external authorities for further assistance. More information about this process is available at: www2.nzqa.govt.nz/tertiary/the-code/the-code-for-learners/learner-complaints/
